Philosophy + Science + Art = Chiropractic
Philosophy is the foundation stone of chiropractic. The belief system that underpins why chiropractors do what they do.
Science is the explantion as to why chiropractic works, and how assessments are made to determine the best care for each individual.
Art is the chiropractic adjustment itself. This can take many forms, as there are a huge variety of chiropractic techniques.
Chiropractic is a natural form of health care that focuses on the nervous system. As the central nervous system is housed by the spine and the skull the majority of the adjustments or manipulations performed by chiropractors are in these areas.
Evidence of spinal manipulation dates back thousands of years, but chiropractic in its modern form was developed in the USA in 1895 by D.D.Palmer.
The General Chiropractic Council issue chiropractors in the UK with their licences to practise and ensure that all chiropractors uphold high professional standards. Annabel’s registration number is 01940.
